PREPARATION FOR SACRAMENTS:

First Reconciliation, First Eucharist:  Children must be in grade 2 or 7 years old or more in 2019

Confirmation: 15 years old

The preparation sessions for First Reconciliation & Communion will begin on Sundays in January, 2019.    Registration forms for sacraments are available on the wall at the back of the church or contact the secretary, Carol Leonard at the church office, 819-663-5244

A special thank you to all who participated in the fund raising for our needy families this Christmas Season.  Because of your generosity we were able to give each of our families a bit extra on their food vouchers with the hampers.  Thanks to your response, we felt it easier to give 28 families, with 60 children the assistance to make their Christmas more enjoyable.  We particularly want to thank the School Children and Staff; The Canadian Legion, to our anonymous donors and you our Parishioners for your generous response.  Thanks, also, to our Parish Secretary and to all those who helped make up the hampers and deliver a few.   Nancy Grenier, Chairman.

ST. COLUMBAN'S CLOSED JANUARY AND FEBRUARY

After consultation with the parishioners, it was agreed that the church would be closed following the Christmas Eve Mass and remain closed during the months of January and February 2019.  The first Mass of 2019 will be celebrated on March 2nd.
