FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

May 2/3, 2015

FOOD FOR THE WEEK

Reading I                             Acts 9.26-31

Responsorial Psalm:             Lord, from you comes my praise in the great congregation.

Reading II                            1 John 3.18-24

Gospel:                                John 15.1-8

·                         The closeness of the relationship with ourselves and Jesus is like branch and tree.  One gives life to the other and draws life from the other.

·                         A real relationship with Jesus is life-giving – it is loving, healing, and challenging.  It brings life to the soul and energy to the body.  The relationship itself bears fruit and brings to each of us a loving and energetic quality of life.

ACTIVITIES SURVEY

The feedback of parishioners is always appreciated, and your warden’s board would like to take this opportunity for you to provide your input on activities you would like to participate in our parish.  We have prepared a short questionnaire, which is available at the back and the side of the church, and would appreciate it if you could take a few moments to complete it.  All suggestions are welcome, and your feedback will help us to plan and organize parish functions.  Please return your completed survey to Shannon Lortie by Sunday May 16. We thank you for your comments and continued support of our parish.
