TWENTY-EIGHTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

October 12/13, 2013

OCTOBER 12/13

Reading I                             2 Kings 5.14-17

Responsorial Psalm:             The Lord has revealed his victory in the sight of the nations.

Reading II                            2 Timothy 2.8-13

Gospel:                                Luke 17.11-19

·         I can take kindness for granted and do not bother to say thanks.  It was the stranger, the Samaritan, who took the trouble to go back to Jesus. The other nine went off happily, feeling, “Sure that only what the rabbis/doctors/healers are there for.”

·         Thank you, Lord, that I am alive and able to speak to you; that I have access to your word in Sacred Space. May I always count my blessings.
