·         What a prospect of learning you open up for me, Lord! The Holy Spirit is to go on teaching me all my days, reminding me of your words, and unwrapping their meaning in all my circumstances.

FUNERAL FOR RUTH BURKE

         The Funeral Mass for Ruth Burke will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Columban with burial at St. Columban Cemetery.

2013 PILGRIMAGE: Moving Ways Pilgrimage The Gatineau

            May 26th to June 1st our Diocese will be holding a daily Walking Pilgrimage to many areas of our Diocese starting each day in Chelsea and going to Kazabazua, Rupert, Luskville, Wakefield, Cantley etc. It would be great to be able to organize a group to attend one or all the days.  For more information, check the bulletin boards at the entrances or contact Carol at the office, 819-663-5244.

 

 

FOOD FOR THE NEEDY

            Our Food cupboard for the needy in our area is getting very low!  We are in need of all types of non-perishable food.  Please feel free to donate canned food, pickles, pasta, rice, toothpaste, laundry detergent, etc. There is a basket at the back of the church for this purpose.  Thank you for your help.

USHERS NEEDED

            We are looking for men and women both, who would be interested in ushering during our Sunday Mass; your help is especially needed because of summer vacations and many of our ushers go to their cottages.  For more information, please contact Mike McCann at 819-669-1687.
